Don't know much about Palestine, but what you suggested sounds interesting. If you're going to argue against the culturalist/islamist side to the activism, it would also be good to highlight where you think the positive activism is coming from too.
Definitely think the disability is understudied on leftypol. I think perhaps it's often just seen as a idpol optional extra. I think modern eugenics is an extremly important and grim area that needs bringing to the fore, especially when in all spheres of production, people are increasingly thought of in terms of their (capitalist) productive value.
World Systems Theory is also good. I don't know if you saw it, but we just published an article (
