Without trying to [blogpost] here, I just wanna say, that I first got introduced to PSL by reading Jodi Dean's books, and I wiki'd here up, and realized she's in a party called Party for Socialism and Liberation [PSL].

After that a few months passed and found out about RT.com's radio cast, titled sputnik.com. (Apparently the current capitalist Russian elite likes to name vaccines and radios like that – no comment, lol.)

My first impressions of "By Any Means Necessary" (the Puryear lead radio show on sputnik) was rather negative, since I thought that 1) the host was guilty of a stereotypical "black radical" attitude, best portrayed by Wonder Showzen, wherein a black hand puppet garbles regular words to sound more radical. https://thepiratebay.org/description.php?id=4668403

But then I saw him doing an speech at BLM, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1Iqr6ReUzo and holy shit, I realized that we have an actual orator amongst us.

If any Americo-burger is reading this OP, please, for the love of God, leave your fucking DSA chapter, and join PSL, because it is LITERALLY RIDDLED with based people like our comrade Eugene Puryear. Not to be racist, or anything, but if you are a MURRICAN and black/latino/native you have NO REASON to stay in DSA. The only ACTUALLY communist party that represents your interests is the mother fucking PSL.

Okay look the DSA is the best we have for the moment, and things mature over time. The Cold War and McCarthyism destroyed leftism in the US, not just the socialist movement but unions themselves. The DSA is an organ in its infancy and not yet matured and disciplined like the older broad tent socialist orgs. DSA is the only org in the US that has been able to appropriate the American condition but it isn’t mature enough to synthesize itself in a disciplined way just yet but it is learning by experience. If you are incapable of doing a sober analysis of the situation you are living with wool over your eyes that is sectarian and anti-communist and serves the enemy.

I have nothing against different parties, Marx didn’t, they are necessary. But what they should do is collaborate for common struggle and even share resources between organizations to strengthen not only their numbers but their information and ideas to strengthen the movement. Think general coordinating different companies or regiments. Also the Dems can try and co-opt anything they like, I’m not afraid of glowies or wreckers, a disciplined organization can root them out with the right mindset and access to background information. And glowies can easily be spotted by using Democratic Centralism or insurrectionist crap. Disagreements is fine, insurrectionist action is objectionable and an actionable offense for purging. But everything I’m saying is only possible with an organization with enough experience under its belt and DSA is an infant mass org.

PSL have retention issues from what I hear. Their centralism (not necessarily a bad thing) makes them set up in areas and then leave. You need to have a little slack if your leadership structure is incapable of capitalising on new gains made in Bumfucktown.
They either need to slack the leash a little or reform their leadership in a way that lets them eat up these gains they make and then lose due to a perceived lack of interest from the party.
