And how does freeing Julian Assange fit into the DSA's scheme? Or stopping Covid, fascism, global warming or World War 3?
Such progressive credentials. One could not hope for a more structured defence of the capitalist system, where "pragmatism" means 100% compliance with the latter, including praising Ramon Mercader. The missing element, i.e. rebranding the Democratic party as "socialist," is supplied by the other half of the two-party system - the fascistic Republicans.
