Why does this sort of shit keep happening to the PSL?

First you had the Austin Red Guards, and now you have Black Hammer.

It is one thing to be a post-trotskyist movement that seems to lack organization but is still making an effort regardless and another to be unrelentingly radical to the point of suspicion. Petty bourgeois radicalism as experienced from Maoists and now Black Hammer will always provide material for right wing opportunists to portray us as petty, warmongering, and divisive.

Thoughts on this?

The video can be seen here, since the webm takes too long to upload:

Do you think he drove all the way from Hammer city to do this? What is the update on hammer city has anybody died yet?

This is the most cringe i've seen Kudzo get tbh. Usually he at least looks kinda composed and together, like organised and purposeful, here he just loses his shit entirely, comes across as erratic. Black Hammer as a group appear disorganised in this.

Wonder if shit is falling apart and its starting to show. This is a big L.

Funny that Sakaist groups like blackhammer, red guards, etc never oppose protests or movements around material concessions for yanks (ie higher wages, socdem gibs, etc) but always seem to turn up to ruin & start confrontations at anti-intervention/anti-war/anti-sanctions protests.

CIA's movement to woke politics isn't just "pandering". The face & shock troopers for US Empire now are yankee "POC".

Sakaism at this point doesn't refer strictly to adherents of Sakai but the entire post-occupy trend of "leftists" who adopt a vulgar third positionst line and combine it with a weird kind of anglo-protestant ultra individualism, moralism & mysticism. They obsess over racialist + gender and sex based politics. Like blackhammer they use anti-colonial language to dismantle anti-imperialist movements and to whitewash/covertly support Imperialism under the guise of "fighting fascists/tankies" (A fascist/tanky being anybody who does not bow to US Empire) and "liberating women/queers".

Colonialism is reduced from it's economic roots to some kind of original sin like mystical ego project on the behalf of whites (which ironically whitewashes colonialism of it's worst crimes), victimhood is mystified and worshipped in this weird pseudo-religious way. To be a colonized person is no longer linked to capital extraction and super-exploitation on a national level, but is robbed of any kind of concrete definition and associated entirely in a magical way with skin colour. IE a black millionaire is inherent "colonized" while a white impoverished prole is inherently tainted and a "colonizer" regardless of the relationship between them or if said "POC millionaire" is a beneficary of said prole's exploitation, even if it occurs on a national level.

Sakaism is bigger than J Sakai or the settlers book, and these people have almost entirely succeded at hijacking the western left and replacing Marxism with their vulgar third positionist racialism & identity based politics with the full backing of US Empire.

There's some dated sectarianism from the time here but this is a good article about this:

>The very essence of capitalism is class exploitation. It is exploitation of people, again in mass. The essence of any struggle is the class struggle. The central moving force is the exploited class–the working class.

>Concepts of struggle not based on the above reality will sooner or later come into conflict with it. The advocates of petty-bourgeois radicalism try to by-pass this reality. They believe they can avoid the necessary and unavoidable consistent and sustained work, the work of organizing, educating, mobilizing and leading people in mass, of leading people on the level of their understanding, of their own self-interest, and in this sense reflecting the objective processes leading to a revolutionary struggle against capitalism. For this they seek to substitute radical rhetoric with general slogans, or advanced actions that have no relationship to struggles to which the masses do respond. Thus when the concepts based on unreality meet the reality of class struggle they bounce back. If such tactics are further pursued they become an obstacle to struggle. They become a destructive and divisive force. Organized groups which pursue such policies not only tend to move away from the working class but they reject mass concepts of struggle altogether.

>The relationships between the objective processes and the tactics of struggle are not simple. It is an intricate process. The lines are not clean-cut and even that which is negative, in the long run, can have momentary positive influences. It is not always easy to draw the line between passivity that is motivated by opportunistic considerations and a judgment that is based on a correct, necessary tactical consideration. And it is not easy always to see the line between a militancy that is necessary to propel the struggle to new heights, or a necessary advanced position or action by a more limited force, and ill-advised actions that alienate and separate the advanced force form its mass base.

I agree with everything you said, I said largely the same thing in my updated review of Settlers, but one small correction I'd just like to point out is that, iirc, the Austin Fed Guards are Gonzaloite, not Sakaist. Still, that doesn't really change much considering they act just as sectarian as any Sakaist, especially given that the Fed Guards are most infamous for starting shit with the fucking CPP and dubbing them "not real Maoists".
>>

 No.409517

Tbf, while the Austin Red Guards are overly sectarian and probably infiltrated, they are not 100% astroturf like Black Hammer. Black Hammer's activity consists solely of starting social media wars, pulling off grifts, and wrecking protests. The Red Guards at least hit the streets and protest, and carry out crude forms of praxis like vandalism. This isn't an endorsement, I just don't think the two groups are comparable.
