 No.402211[Last 50 Posts]

With the amount of VPN usage, false flagging, larping, and hacking that occurs on this site and the land of obscure imageboards as a whole collecting information on the people that browse imageboards would be exceptionally difficult especially when you consider that multiple people can be using the same IP address or addresses that lead to dead ends or imageboard users can simply live in countries that the cia goons and the FEDs have little control over. On top of that it's been documented on sites like stormfront and 8Kun the feds have repeatedly failed to prevent outbreaks of terrorism or the sharing of cheese pizza and amount to nothing more than a boogeyman on most imageboards to derail threads that could reveal the information of anons. Am I right or does someone have anything to counter me

No. Don't even think that feds are stalking your moves in this board. The Constitution guarantees free speech and freedom of thought through the First Amendment. No worries. It's possible, but they're likely looking at people such as /pol/. /leftypol/ at worst has scrawled some grafitti on some walls and funded leftist speakers to talk at events, /pol/ has had its users commit acts of domestic terrorism.

So unless one of our users starts "The People's Republic of California" or "The Free Territory of South Australia" we're going to get and see minimal fed activity.

The fact that the Cuba thread drew so many anti-Cuba fags was extremely suspiscious. Sure, a lot of those faggots were just normie gusanos but I don't think all of them were just that, besides considering that this shit started because of some protests going on and how before that all threads about Cuba had at most one or two leftcoms spreading their faggotry, while the overwhelming majority of the other posters were all pro-Cuba, chances are they came in force in that thread.

>feds watching anyone
Feds strain every bit of content everywhere through PRISM and whatever else we don't know about. One must assume they get everything. Period.

>VPN usage

Compromised and irrelevant since your ISP is ratting on you or they tap the lines directly. Only encryption and having an unremarkable visible persona can help you.

>false flagging, larping, and hacking

Nobody is sorting through the information manually only querying manually once their infrastructure has extracted the useful information and arranged it neatly.

>the feds have repeatedly failed to prevent outbreaks of terrorism

The feds let happen what the feds want to happen, and half the times not only they know about it but they are entirely responsible for organizing said "terrorism".

>sharing of cheese pizza

"The pedos are sharing CP on [your local social media]" is a spook. The real danger is on the production side but the propaganda focuses on a few losers, probably themselves groomed by feds, that get caught red handed because it's a convenient pretext.

You see if they focus on the losers caught with CP, which they can manufacture at infinitum, they create the association in the public's mind between the horrendous child abuse and the terminal looser who downloaded a file.

That terminal loser can be anyone. Sure, you may not be entrapped but CP is so easy to plant with no way to prove it wasn't. So once the public is conditioned to uncritically demand the head of anyone's who is accused of "possessing" CP, it becomes an arbitrary means to charge anyone for decades worth of prison as well as destroying their public character. A very useful thing.

>Are fed agents really watching anyone on this board?

5 eyes states would be watching mostly indirectly, most likely via some kind of bot scraping posts & screening through them for keywords. Said keywords get sent to another more intelligent bot and if it looks like something which would interest the state, it gets sent to some low-level state intel guy who determines whether it's worth passing on.

IP addresses are likely logged & AI are most likely able to determine who you are based on mannerisms, internet cookies, IP etc and sort it into a big file which may be accessed by state intel if they have reason to crack down to on you.

Most trolls on this site are likely bots running semi-autonomously on an advanced/specialized GPT-3 system with semi oversight by some military cyberwar unit, low-level state intel guy or contracted "cybersecurity" group.

Basically everything you do now is being tracked by state intel although the level of data is just way too much for human beings to parse through & leftypol is a pretty small website so it's unlikely an enormous amount of resources is going to be dedicated to monitoring.

Right now US state intel in particular is more focused on repressing the "far-right" although there is mounting soft repression against those deemed "tankies".

Unless they got themselves into the administration or something it's doubtful they are monitoring users (although some people have very identifiable posting patterns). They are however definitely monitoring the site as a whole, and there has been a marked pattern of glowposting during significant current events going back for years. They're aware of us and they do post here, 100%. They arent and even if they were likely nothing would happen to you. Fed agents dont care about preventing terrorism or even crime otherwise they would collect so much information on ordinary civilians as adding more information to find a couple bad apples is like adding more hay to a hay stack to find 1 needle, what they're actually using all that information for is giving information to corporations on finding increasingly retarded methods of scamming civilians and giving away private info on citizens for advertising companies. If the feds actually cared about safety of civilians they could just do the locations of criminals whom already post their locations online and form search parties looking for illegal traders in regions of high organized crime rather than spending billions on a cyber war that goes no where. I doubt it. 8ch/pol was far more prominent than we have ever been and multiple killers posted their manifestos there BEFORE going on a rampage. You would think that a forum such as that, with much worse content, would be watched but either the agents watching couldn't decipher the trolling and memes from the serious posts, or they simply weren't there because they don't care about Mongolian knitting forums.

Short answer: there is no evidence.
