If nothing else it’s worth fixing those before they also need root canals. As far as the teeth which need root canals go it’s probably worth researching first.
There are also sometimes temporary mass clinics set up where you can go and get everything taken care of for free. Those usually brings a ton of people and you have to wait in line all day. Check with United Way or another similar non-profit near you. I hear some Americans are even forced to go to Mexico for affordable dental work.
