There isn't an exact trend to follow for who is more likely to be a dom girl, but usually subcultural cliques tend to have higher rates of dom women (like goths, tomboys, nerd girls, ect), at least from my experience. It might not even be a higher proportion of it, more that they just have the sexual experience to know that they do have a dom preference, but either way its a better place to look for them.
There are also a few dom girls which are more openly sexual and less committed to relationships who tend to have sub partner(s) for a while before moving on, its not where you can find love most of the time but its a good time at least. These are the kind of people that are in the more conventional BDSM community if those are around where you live, but they are also usually more in the hardcore league than your more gentle domestic fem dom.
Of course there is always the fact that any relationship that goes on long enough will probably shift towards each other's romantic preferences, so as long as they don't outright conflict with the desires of a potential gf she would probably naturally be more dominant towards you as you got more settled together. This happens to anyone who hasn't had a long-term sexual relationship quickly (usually how most people's sexual fetishes form) and still does it after albeit much slower.
