This. I have interacted with multiple leftypol mods on their matrix servers and here's the thing: he doesn't support socialism of any sort. He spreads lies about communism and appeals to optics any time something which could vaguely allude to violent revolution or revolutionary socialism. He argues dishonestly and likes movements such as Extinction Rebellion which do nothing at all, but hey, he feels they are so they are. He's just a social liberal, nothing more.

If not for that, this entire clusterfuckotron of a proposal is another thing he's done which has severely damaged relations between two left-wing chans. He also instigated and was the 'front man' so to speak of the bunker split. I'm not sure how he managed to get into leftypol's mod team but he doesn't belong in it or here for that matter. The mods themselves do not agree with each other on what is actionable and what isn't or what leftypol should be. Some of them aren't that well liked by others and there is infighting. I've heard of two sorts of mods, older and newer ones, the latter of which came from the bunker split. Anons aren't the only ones having problems with our jannies, the jannies have problems with themselves internally.

Think about the kind of person who would be attracted to becoming a jannie. They are the polar opposite of regular imageboard posters.
An anonymous imageboard poster doesn't need all the extra social context that you have on Twitter or Reddit, and is fine with his posts disappearing when the thread limit is reached, there is no identity to build or maintain.
A jannie/admin on the other hand has to have some kind of tag that identifies them as an authority, they always seem to want to figure out who is who from post histories or logs. Basically, they don't see any value in an anonymous post, they really want to know the social context around it. So they are inherently more comfortable on platforms that give them that, like Discord, Twitter or Leddit, and they will always try to make imageboards more like those places and seethe when people call them fags for it.

That wasn't why those posts were deleted. It was discussed multiple times in the public room and /meta/.
It was deleted because it was considered by some mods to be spam (literally repeating each post in a thread verbatim with an image attached, derailing many threads), but others felt that should be accepted on /b/ (within reason) as a meme or protest, interpreting /b/ as a more chaotic 4chan /b/ than a general discussion board. It was never to do with them being avatarfags, that's simply where the repost spam was because they were the most fun to annoy.
It's also worth noticing that some (certainly not all) of the spam at that time was actually from hostile non-leftypol.org users, including soyjak.party explicitly targeting a user. That doesn't excuse it, but it adds context to why it was treated as hostile against the site; some of it was.
