>>111541There's a decent collection of them from Soviet amateur photographer Masha Ivashintsova. See her website here:
https://mashaivashintsova.com/I'm betting there massive binders packed to the brim with candid photos from the Soviet Union that just haven't been scanned yet. The reason why I think that is because Soviet amateur photographers could get unlimited B&W bulk film and photo paper for free if they joined their town's community darkroom. That was the reason why Masha Ivashintsova was able to take so many photos, and I bet there are lots of others who were as prolific as her.
Also, one more note about the Soviet photo industry: color film was very slow and super expensive to produce and process pretty much all the way to 1991. It never got affordable enough to be used for snapshots. Therefore pretty much all the color pictures at the beginning of the thread were staged or semi-staged for propaganda purposes. If you want to see things "as they really were" in color, your best bet comes from rich foreign diplomats. Martin Manhoff has a pretty good collection from the mid 50s, he blew $3 a shot adjusted for inflation to shoot these Kodachromes.
